I'm using an Intensity Pro on a dual boot XP/Linux system, previously it was running a 2.6.30 kernel in Fedora 11 and worked fine. However, later that day I reinstalled with Fedora 12, which ships with a 2.6.31 kernel. After installing (the redhat rpm with yum), either during the part where it tries to enable the driver or several seconds after the whole process completes, the whole system freezes, and I can do nothing but hard reset. It appears to happen every time i try reinstalling it, and the rpm appears to be missing a %preun scriptlet so I have to remove it with the --nopreun flag for rpm. Anyway, I'm assuming it's the kernel but who knows, the versions of dkms and other dependencies are probably different as well. The lockup makes it pretty difficult to debug and I'm not really willing to subject my system to more hard resets. This is with the latest DeckLink 7.3.2 package for redhat Linux.
