In FCP the Apple ProRes 422 codec is not available.
These are available:
Apple ProRes 422 (HQ)
Apple ProRes 422 (LT)
Apple ProRes 422 (Proxy)

This not available:
Apple ProRes 422

Am I missing something?

Appears to be an oversight. It's simple enough to make your own, by duplicating one of the others and adjusting it.

Okay..let me clarify.

It's not really an oversite. These presets were omitted to prevent a "MORE" massive list of easy setups.

Good news it is extremely easy to get what you are looking for. Just duplicate the easy setup, then go into the easy setup and change the codec from the HQ codec to the standard one, or the offline one. The easy setups are identical outside of which codec is being used.

So just duplicate and choose the codec you would like to work and you will be up and running quick.

Okay then...you guys chose the wrong one to omit. Pro Res standard quality is the most used one... HQ is primarily for real high end formats like 2K.

Thanks for the input on that. I will register that in our bug system as a request. However, I will say that the HQ codec has been the default (in our Easy Setups) since ProRes came out. You have always been able to change it in the same way.

We thought it better to maintain consistency, but your opinion is noted.
