I’m planning to use DeckLink based system in a small SD studio environment as a CG and DD Player for live production using Adobe Premiere Pro 2 or 3.
1. The DeckLink’s input will be connected to output of production switcher (video from cameras).
2. LiveKey is in “Internal Key” mode and in the background.
3. Premier is using one of DeckLink’s presets (say, 720x486, NTSC) and all content is rendered to the same resolution and frame rate.
Would Premiere actually play its content in timeline and key it over the incoming video? I mean, play in real time, say, animated titles or graphic or video and audio content from timeline (TV commercials block or program’s header, footer, bumper, etc).
I cannot find this information anywhere else, so, I count on your help. Thanks in advance.
