I'm trying to do some live broadcasting of some high school basketball games (I am not a pro just a hobbyist).
Last year I used a canon vixia hf r21 to record the games and used a iPad mini to stream live to " the cube" http://www.thecube.com. Then the next day I would upload the game from the video I shot on the canon and converted to MP4 format with adobe premier. Because the canon format is .mts I can do little with in that format.
Ok so that's the back ground. Here is what I'm thinking about and I have not seen anyone doing it like this for sporting events. So my worst fear is that it will not work so this is where you come in hopefully.

I would like to straight feed hdmi out of the vixia hf r21 or convert from hdmi to thunderbolt or USB 3 as my main feed into my laptop.
I want to use two Runcam2 hd cameras. The cams have hdmi outs
I want to connect them each to a quanum elite 5.8 Ghz wireless transmitter

used for drone fpv flying. I would use a lipo battery pack for the power source
and mount one on each basketball goal. Send the signal to the receiver and then I would run it through a black magic ultra mini recorder to get it into my laptop. Then I can use OBS to choose my cams. The audio would come in through a small mixer and the commentary would come in from headphone mics fed into the mixer.

This is similar to the set up that Im trying to duplicate it makes quite a compact rig

So I tried my best to explain what I'm trying to do with what I'm trying to do it with. All I can add to that is the goal is to be basically a two man or one man mobile show that I can set up fast and be able to go to home games or away and still produce a good broadcast. I can usually get wifi at most venues (sometimes a hardline cat 5) at the press box. But I can't run wires Sdi or power to the 2nd and 3rd cams. The canon runs off battery only anyway.
I want to be able to livestream in at least 720 at 30fps hoping more like 1080p at 60fps or 30

Any insight you could share would be great and Thank you for your time.
