Really? Hmmm I would have thought that realtime in uncompressed would be a lot less of a load on the cpu than doing dv would be, as the machine doesn't have to recompress on the fly. You will find this on things like DS where you have to render 2:1 effects but not uncompressed.

FCP3.04 on D1gigG4 & D1.25G4 both with 1gig ram KonaSD, Flyingcows, AJA d->A, A->D converters, Fibre Sanman 960gig Raid3. MacOS 10.2.4 QuickTime6.1.1
