Marco SolorioRe: Will Kona SD ever do Video+graphics Layer in RT?

This is the first time ever, Aurora has mentioned anything to the contrary of Igniter being single stream. When I use my Ignter's RT effects, they are single stream effects, like color correction (no hue transforms though) and letterbox mask. There are no RT effects that take in two streams of video simultaniously and effect them together, like an RT dissolve. Altough a single stream dissolve is possible, it would take a huge and extremely fast disk array to accoplish it (ala Digital Voodoo D1 64AV). Not very efficient when a true dual stream can do it in a snap like Cinewave and Kona.

Igniter's MJPEG RT is still also only processing one stream of video at a time.

Not really sure where this post came from or why. Ever since I bought my Igniter I've always wanted RT dissolves but you, Aurora, have said the card's bandwidth is tapped and is based off its single stream structure. This has been discussed at length in the Aurora forum. So now all of a sudden I'm supposed to believe otherwise????
