Well, I went ahead and got the semi-progressive reading/computer glasses. Because the sales guy was pretty good, I have to wait a few days for the anti-glare coating...probably a good idea, but the fluid-driven eclipse compensator with onboard autoservor backup was probably overkill.

The conversation here was really useful.
