Not knowing anything about html (I can write a mailto: link, but that's about it), I think I sorta follow what you're saying. This page was written in GoLive, so all the extra code came from that.

I've messed around with the header section and the text links are displaying properly now in Netscape, but I wasn't able to get anywhere on the bottom of the page. However, if you're not seeing it on any of your systems, it may not be worth worrying about. For what it's worth, here's what I'm seeing:
