Kona LHi HDMI output to monitor
by Chris Hall on Oct 18, 2009 at 3:19:50 pm

Hi!

I'm thinking of getting a Kona LHi and connecting to a monitor via the HDMI output (Sony LMD 2030W). Just wondering if this works OK over the various HD and SD formats. I'll mainly be using HD 1080 and 720 at 25p and SD 576:50i. Will the monitor switch ok to an SD signal and display it full screen?

Anyone have any experience of this? I'm new to HDMI having used SDI for monitoring in the past which isn't available on this monitor.

Many Thanks,

Chris Hall
