Question about Kona LHE capturing

I'm looking into getting a Kona LHe for my edit 2 suite (frustrated with black magic) and I have a question on the
way it captures and the aja codecs.
on the black magic multibridge extreme I have, when I run a black magic easy setup, say for example:
Black Magic 10-bit or 8-bit Uncompressed, it actually captures the video as apple uncompressed 10-bit or 8-bit.
the only time I need to render to a black magic codec is if I'm rendering from After Effects or a pc.
So the question is, Do the Kona LH easy setups make it so one can capture apple 10-bit or 8-bit uncompressed video?
Or does it only capture in AJA specific 10-bit or 8-bit uncompressed.
Its vital that fcp projects from either room can be opened in the other without codec issues.
I should add that for the most part, we use ProRes HQ for SD work and DVCPRO-HD for HD work. We occasionally use uncompressed 10-bit for SD.

thanks for the quick response walter.
so I assume the aja specific version of the codec is for outside system rendering. (from a pc or a 3rd party/client for realtime playback of a deliverable)
