The GEN10 is a cost effective and flexible SD/HD/AES sync generator. The GEN10 features 7 outputs including 2 groups of independently controlled SD/HD sync outputs and 1 AES-11 output. The SD outputs can be switched between Color Black or Color Bars. HD tri-level sync can be switched between 19 different HD formats including all that are in use today. The AES-11 output can be switched between SILENCE and TONE. All outputs are in sync with each-other and are sourced from an accurate master time base

in respect to "black burst bob" I would call it the "Zelin"..

Sometimes dreams do come true. Bob has to be happy.

How much?

Probably sounds strange but this is one of the most exciting announcements of NAB for me. I just saved a couple thousand dollars. Way to go AJA!!!

this is the #1 product announcement at the show. The I/O HD is amazing (and other products are amazing), but as far as something that will go into EVERY NEW SYSTEM FOR THE NEXT 5 YEARS, nothing can compare to this release. Every new system - Blackmagic, AJA, AVID, etc., will have an AJA GEN10 in it. End of story.

Wow this is amazing. I've been putting off buying a Tri-Level Sync as long as possible because of their cost. Thankfully I haven't had too many jobs that require it. $400, I don't have a reason to wait anymore. Thanks AJA!

It's out RIGHT NOW. You get the new fantastic Hamlet VidScope for $1000 (free download for trial). You put an AJA Xena LHe or LH into a cheap PC and you have an INCREDIBLE hi quality, HD waveform/vectorscope/monitor/audio meter/audio phase meter. It will cost about $3500 complete (half the price of a Leader LV7700), and you already know how to use the hardware and drivers (and if the PC dies, you get another cheap PC - not a big repair bill for the Tek, Videotek, or Leader HD scope).

You already have it. It's called Color. Those scopes are absolutely dead-on accurate.

Definitely the "widget" pick of the show for me. It's something everyone really needs for their shop and now at an incredibly reasonable price point.
