Basic Media 100
by Leah Attard on Jun 26, 2009 at 12:22:49 am

I've just been thrown into a Media 100 project (editor sick), I'm a Avid/FCP and I'm finding it hard to do the basics - chromo keying etc...

Anyone got any ideas where I can do a decent online tutorial?

The best results can be achieved using Boris RED as a software filter if you can afford rendering time. Here is a link to a tutorial:

If you are using the latest Media 100 version you should be able to apply RED as a clip effect. In addition, Media 100 has a native chromakey filter under filter panel in the Edit Suite.
