FuseX & QT 7.31 playback issues

I captured video with the Fuse-X using the codecs 8bit extreme and 10bit extreme (PAL). The Files with a size up to 31 GB (or similar) play fine in QuickTime 7.3.1, but the files with sizes more than 46 GB are not recognized as movies. I cannot play them with Quicktime 7.3.1, Mpeg Streamclip 1.9 or VLC 0.8.6a (that's all I tested).
After it didn't work the first time, I disabled the QT Interceptor Control with no apparent results. I also changed the Default/Interceptor Mode to Lower Field first, just to try it out. No change as far as I can notice.
I can only assume that it's got something to do with the filesize, but can't find any hints to this problem.
OSX 10.4.11, G4 Dual 1,25 Ghz, Aurora Video Systems 5.0.2
Any hints are highly appreciated, as I don't have any clue. I really need help on this.
PLEASE IGNORE: WRONG! by Sebastian Klein on Feb 17, 2008 at 4:32:03 pm
I have to admit, I was a bit jumpy when opening this thread. The problem is something else and I will try to narrow it down some more with different testings (other source material, other codecs etc). So please ignore this until I have come up with more details. (I would delete this post, but that doesn't seem to work. So if any admin reads this, feel free to delete.) .
