We have FCS2 on two G5 dual 2.7s with OS 10.4.1 and QT 7.1.3. We have NOT upgraded to QT 7.2 yet. I have read that you cannot export from FCP direct to Color and be able to see the video on your NTSC monitor in color...it displays in B/W. Cannot verify this...haven't used Color yet. Oh, and we are actually running FCP ver 6.0.1.
Everything is working great. I have a few random rainbow wheel of death crashes, but we run a lot of apps at once on our machines. I have one machine that I might try the upgrade to QT 7.2 and see what happens...I heard we would lose the interceptor option which I don't want to lose.
But, in general, FC Studio 2 is running fine, at least on our dual 2.7 G5s.
