i have a bunch of old aurora mjpega compressed movies that i'm trying to view now (they've been in storage for the past few years). i can't figure out how to watch them in quicktime 7. any help on this would be really really really appreciated. thanks!

So your saying you open them in QT7 but you can't watch them?
As far as I remember the Aurora Mjpeg-A codec is compatible with the Apple Mjpeg-A codec which is still part of QT7. but I'm not sure?
Have you tried to use the last IgniterX installer (6.4.4 which you get at: http://www.auroravideosys.com/pub/?M=A). After launching the installer go to costum install and only selct the Aurora codec. This might do the trick? Again haven't tried it...

thanks for your response!
yeah, i read that they're supposed to be interoperable too, but it doesn't seem to be working for me. i also did try to install the 6.4.4 and the 6.4.2 drivers as well, but still no go.
somewhere along the way i read that aurora removed support for their mjpega 8bit UC from the drivers (which i think is how i compressed these movies originally), but i don't think the older drivers will work with QT7...
