No audio from Composit Input

I cannot get any audio signal out of the composite input on my studio pro pipe card (Video is OK). I am trying to capture video from a VHS deck, of course I have tried different decks, tapes, and chords.

Anyone know if what might be wrong?

Do you mean the RCA audio jack? What OS and program are you using?

I'm using FCP, with latest updates. When inputing audio to the composite RCA jack, no audio is received in Final Cut. This used to work, but stopped working for no reason.

Also, is there a general phone number or tech support number for Aurora? The number on their website is bad.

Try the Aurora control panel in System Preferences. Make sure that the Unbalanced input is set to Analog.

In FCP, check that under AV Settings that the input is set to Aurora Pipe. Same with the Sound control panel.
