Well, it looks like Aurora is dead and gone...

Anyway, I'd be PSYCHED if someone could answer this one for me:

I have an Aurora Igniter LT. Is it true that this can become an IgniterX with a simple download?

If so, which one of these is it?

I'm not sure if it works with your card but download the last Igniter drivers for OSX: 6.4.4
Hope it does!

No. I don't think It will work.

No one would buy an IgniterX, if all you had to do was download a different drive for free to get a much more expensive product.

I think the Igniter LT, was basically the original Igniter card, that could only do MJPEG compressed material.
Those of us who owned that could upgrade to an IgniterX, for a fee...we had to send back our cards, and they would add a chip that would allow uncompressed)
