Igniter RT 111 Issues w 10.4.6

I've not had to mess with trying to trouble shoot until I recently upgraded to 10.4.2 and QT Pro 7.1.1. With my Igniter Break Out Box connected to my Dual Gig system - I have been unable to "see" anything connected to my firewire ports. I've got the latest IgniterX drive installed version 6.4.4.
Have I missed something? Should I download a Pipe driver or Fuse type driver?
The only way I can see anything plugged into my Firewire ports is if I disconnect my Igniter Break Out box (part #16). FYI, I've cleared out the extra QTxxx.pkg files in my Receipts folder.
I'm still holding out and may not go the Duo Intel route for a while.
