Anybody using "Desktop" mode without interceptor

Hi all,
This is a question directed at users of the Aurora AV series cards (Pipe-family and Fuse-X).. Actually two questions:
1) Do you use the Desktop mode without Interceptor?
2) Would you prefer that interceptor is available without the desktop?
I don't know how many audio users monitor this forum, but the initial feedback from that segment has been that they would prefer to not have the additional deskop, and that they would prefer an Interceptor-only mode. We're just wondering if the video editorial segment is in agreement, or if there are more than a few people using the desktop for things like PhotoShop and PowerPoint...
