OT - Compressing for iPhone
by Warren Eig on Aug 11, 2008 at 1:54:04 pm

Sorry for the off topic.

Anyone have some tips/settings for Compressor to get good video into the right format for the iPhone 3G? I have some anamorphic pieces as well as 4x3 letterboxed.

TIA,

Warren

We just use the stock iPhone settings in Compressor and they work well. You really can't change anything in there or it probably won't work. It's a pretty tight box.

I find the presets in Episode for iPod to be the best.

Have a wonderful day.

Compressor's settings work incredibly well. As a matter of fact, I'm typing this on my iPod Touch, of which I have several videos on it that I compressed using Compressor.
