Rendering MP3 bug in timeline?
by paul harb (Paul_Harb) on Jul 19, 2008 at 5:39:19 pm

Every time I try and render an MP3 in my timeline it shifts the timing of the audio after the render throwing everything out of sync with the music....anyone else have this issue, or am I the only one stupid enough to try and edit with an MP3 file...should I just export it and bring it back in?

Convert the MP3's first to AIFF or another format standard audio format at 48K. Then import them. No rendering and no issues. I did the same thing for awhile before figuring out you... don't use MP3s in FCP.
