difficulties with the audio when crasching down to tape from finalcut
by Josephine Andersson on Jul 11, 2008 at 9:20:16 am

Im having a problem with final cut pro 6.0.3 When trying crash out from a sequence in finalcut down to tape the audio is having a disturbuence. It almost sounds like there is a electronical disturbence when people talk or when itīs music. But all the time the image is prefect. When crashing ut to tape i use a device by firewire. In final cut i had following settings:

Videoplayback- Apple firewire pal 720*576
External video - All frames
Audio - Audio follows video

Thing is yesterday i managed to crash out 3 sequences out to tape perfectly witch these settings. But when i came back following day trying do crash out some more sequences with the same settings the aduio i screwing up. Iīve tryed the device with another computer and it worked perfectly. So the probelm must be in finalcit. Can somenonge please help mi to solve the problem?

Did you render the audio before recording? Select All, Command-Option-r. Try it.
