FCP rental in the US

Hi All
Can anyone from the US of A tell me if there's a recommended national hirer of FCP systems in the US? I know I could find a local company each time, but I have a requirement to supply and operate systems in different locations in the US, so it would be far better if I could just deal with one company. Otherwise, I'll just continue to ship systems, which is expensive and a little dangerous for computer gear....
Many thanks for any advice you can give.
Ben

Ben,
There are some companies that have multiple offices or deal with projects on a national level, but if I understand you correctly, you'd like to deal with one company that has "local" branches where ever you need them. To my knowledge that doesn't exist.
Call Bexel (In LA or NY). Call Wexler video (In Burbank). Visionary forces (LA) or V.E.R. in LA.

Thanks Guys! I didn't really think about Bexel, and we use other broadcast gear from them over here (and occasionally Wexler too). I'll look into the other names you mentioned too.
Do you have any direct experience of hiring from any of the above? It would be good to know I could get the spec I wanted etc. from someone who knows the products...
Many thanks
Ben

Ben,
I've been dealing with Wexler Video for almost twenty years. Very reputable, responsible, and reliable.
No personal experience with Bexel, but I know that they've also been in business a long time with many, many high profile clients.
We've rented decks (HDCAMsr) from VER and they've delivered as promised.
I don't think you can go wrong with any of the companies mentioned above. Just be specific about what you want, and ask to speak to a rental agent that knows the gear.

Thanks to both of you - I'm in conversation with a number of the above. It's much appreciated.
