Mixing audio of different sample rates....

Hi all,
I don't have time to experiment, so I am hoping you can help me.
I am a bit confused about the "Big Picture" of how FCP wants me to handle sampling rates for different video formats.
I am shooting an exercise video in HD (with an HVX 200) that I will edit and eventually output as a SD 16:9 DVD.
When we shoot, the audio will from the camera will be @ 48Khz. The client has provided CD music that is 44.1Khz. Play that CD live during the shoot so the girls have something to workout to. Then I need to use the music in the FCP timeline for editing.
Is there ANY reason why I should change the sampling rate of the CD audio to 48K before I drop it into the FCP Timeline? We will most likely do all of the editing in HD, then output the finished piece as a SD 16:9 movie for use in DVDSP.
Any input is appreciated.... including warnings of potential issues.
Thanks a bunch,
Matt
