Removing pulldown on capture from HV30, possible?
by matt devino (mattdawgpro) on May 30, 2008 at 3:28:42 am

Hey Everyone,
I've been using a Sony V1U for a while and capturing in FCP 6.0.2 using the HDV-Apple ProRes 24P easy setup. It gets rid of my pulldown and creates independent clips on capture. I'm going to get a Canon HV30 soon and I was wondering if you can do the same thing with the HV30, or if I'm going to have to capture as HDV 60i and do the transcode and pulldown remove in compressor? Thanks.
-Matt
