I am editing with 3 camera angles, all shot on DVCPRO HD, and have created Mulitclips with them. The Multiclips play back fine, but when I create an edit in the sequence, I have to re-render the clip. This has never been an issue with DV. Is it possible to Multiclip edit in REALTIME with DVCPRO HD? I am using FCP 6.0.2. On a Dual-Core Intel, running on MAC OS X 10.5.1. Using 4GB of RAM. Let me know if anyone has any input. Much appreciated.

Agreed Shane. There isn't enough throughput on a firewire setup to handle the bandwidth required by 3 streams of DVCProHD. Add to that the fact there's most likely motion effects applied (since it's three streams we're talking about), and it's a lot for the computer to do. The demands only increase as you move up to 1080i.
