Chv Morphing effect IN final cut pro - need help
by Wally Dewally (Mister T.) on May 18, 2008 at 2:59:29 pm

Hey,

I just purchased Chv Morphing FX to make a simple morph effect between 2 pictures. It is an building, one old and other new.

I have no clue how to work with it.
Someone can explain me how it works?

On the site they explain it in motion, but i dont know the software at all.

I want it to do IN fcp.

Please help!

T.

We have two plugin packages to create a morph effect. The difference between our two Morph plugin packages lies in the used plugin interface technology.

The Morph-collection
This package runs with Final Cut Pro (all versions) and Final Cut Express (all versions).

Morphing FX
This package runs only with Motion (2.1.2, 3 and up).

"Morphing FX" only works with Motion and not with FCP, yet. This is because "Morphing FX" uses some functions of the FxPlug plugin interface that FCP is unaware of.
Our second morph plugin package "The Morph-collection" works with all versions of Final Cut Pro and Final Cut Express.

Morphing FX is easier to handle, because of the better user interface of Motion compared to Final Cut Pro. If you have the Final Cut Studio 2 package then I would suggest that you go for Morphing FX and use it with Motion, but you can also buy the Morph-collection and create the morph effect with Final Cut Pro.
