Audio Latency w/ Intensity video & Edirol firewire audio monitoring?

Hi all,
I'm a bit new to my hardware and FCP but was curious if anyone knew if I would experience any audio latency in scrubbing or playback if I setup FCP to use my Blackmagic Intensity Pro card for video and my Edirol FA-101 firewire audio interface to monitor the audio? I mean will the sound even be off a frame or am I just paranoid of using two different devices for audio & video moitoring.
I just love the Edirol for my audio work and have it plugged into my mixing board - but the Intensity Pro only has analog audio out - right?

Not sure my self but will be watching this space to know if anyone knows. I did speak to a tech support guy from Black Magic and he told me that the Motu would sync perfectly with my card (it's an Intensity card so should be in the same basket as yours). The edirol looks very similar to the Motu.

It might work just fine, but you might be asking for problems. I'd rather just use the audio from the Intensity card unless I wanted to only record audio, then I'd plug in Edirol. I say this because if anything was ever out of sync, I'd always have to wonder if it's the hardware or the video clip.

thanks - my thoughts exactly. I think I'll use the Intensity Pro's output for now until I have time to try some comprhensive tests. When I do get time to test it very thorughly I'll post my results here in case anyone is interested.
Just after a bleary-eyed long editing session I'd be afraid there were a few milliseconds out or something and I'd have no way to be sure.. :p
