And no, you cannot use this file with any other editing system. You can only use this on a computer with FCP installed, because the QT codec it uses is only installed with FCP. You can also capture as Apple Intermediate Codec and ProRes ia firewire. But again, only workable in FCP. If you want it to work with Adobe Premiere...capture with Adobe Premiere.
