It's going to stretch out just as if you did it with FCP. If you're just trying to go from 4:3 SD to Pillarboxed HD, then the Terranex is fine. As for samples, not sure where to look other than the Terranex website for shows that use the tool. 	Re: OT - Teranex Upres Samples??? by Shane Ross on Dec 11, 2007 at 11:56:31 pm Yes, I worked on that. We used the Terranex to up convert all the DV and VHS and BetaSP footage. Well, not ALL the DV footage, as there wasn't too much. Some use used Compressor. BUT, what we did was make select reels, used the terranex to upconvert and convert the frame rate from 29.97fps and 25 fps to 23.98 fps (we had some PAL footage). It looked GREAT. Just watch the show. It isn't available on iTunes though...but Andrew Jackson is...
