combining frame rates to a smooth project

	combining frame rates to a smooth project by Alex bowes on Dec 8, 2007 at 9:37:48 pm So shot a project recently and have run into a problem with editing and exporting. Shot half of it in HD at 23.98 fps and shot the other half on black and white film, which was then digitally transferred at 29.98. Now when edited together in FCP the timeline plays just fine, but when exported using compressor or quicktime the black and white shots seem jumpy almost if there are dropped frames. Can anyone help? If 23.98, might try removing the pulldown in the film transfer... it's probably 2:3:2:3 if you shot 24fps. Jerry Respond to this post   •   Return to posts index
