illegal spikes
by al mayes on Nov 7, 2007 at 3:03:40 pm

Hi

I am getting illegal spikes going in both directions (sub black and peak white)which only appear after material has been leaglized using colour finesse. This especially happens when using a venetian blind wipe.

The spikes occur where the border starts and ends.

How do i get rid of the spikes without lifting the blacks and reducing the peak y level?

thanks

al

You can try using the proc amp filter. Or you can try using a different CC filter. What happens if you use FCP's 3-way CC instead of Color Finesse?
