Upgrade Final Cut Studio 1 Academic to Professional

	Upgrade Final Cut Studio 1 Academic to Professional by luciditynow on Jul 9, 2007 at 1:16:35 am Hi, I have final cut studio 1 academic installed on my computer and would like to replace it with the professional version of studio 1. I have the install DVDs but after installation, it reverts to the academic version. If you purchase the full retail version and are installing over the the existing academic version make sure you delete the receipt for the old version and the FCP System ID, which is the serial number. If you qualify for the academic version of FCP Studio 2 the cost to purchase it is only $499. This is for students and educational institutions that don't use the program to make money.
