Thanks for the seminar Gary!
by Paul Ladd on Apr 28, 2007 at 12:24:43 am

I just wanted to post a big thank you to Gary Adcock for putting on the JVC ProHD seminar that is touring. I just attended the Seattle seminar and it was fantastic. There is a wealth of knowledge that I learned and I cannot recommond highly enough that everybody try and make it to any of the other national seminars. It answered so many questions that I had, and I am sure the knowledge I gained will be invaluable to me, as we all take the roller coaster ride that is HD. It's very great to learn from someone that is so passionate and somebody who is so willing to pass along their wisdom to others (freely, in this case).

Thanks Gary!

Thanks Paul..

I have to give the marketing group at JVC kudos for being farsighted enough in their focus to understand that sharing this level of knowledge is one of the most important steps for the future of HD, not as a sales presentation, but as one persons look at where and how HD acquisition and production are headed.

Not everyone has a chance or inclination to go to NAB, HD Expo or one of the DV shows.
This tour provides me the ability to speak on this wide ranging topic for an entire day, to share my thoughts and views on all aspects of the HD spectrum, from the high-end cameras and solutions that few outside of Hollywood or NYC ever see, to the limitations of a single CCD for acquisition, not to mention a good hour on the need for quality optics and production practices, then finish the day on post-production and delivery in various formats and frame rates one may need to deliver.

once again
thanks

gary
