Failure to launch

Hi, I have just bought a MacPro Xeon, and transferred my FCP app to it from my old G5. FCP would not launch, so I reinstalled it. Still nothing. I took out the BIAS Soundsoap plug ins from the library (suggested by MacFixIt), but I still can't get the FCP app to launch. Other apps from my copy of FCP Studio Pro have no trouble launching, but FCP has me stumped. Please help!

Are you installing FCP 5.1?

Hi Kevin,
Thanks for your reply. I found the answer on an obscure blog online - I had to dump my FCP preferences and reinstall. FCP (v. 5.0) is up and running.
Thank you, though, for your attention to my problem. I really appreciate it.
