Looking for Quicktime Screen Capture software suggestions for PC
by Bruce Wittman on Jun 8, 2006 at 3:37:37 pm

Hello Wise COWs,

I have a client who wants to capture software training sessions from a PC.
The training involves teaching newbies how to use a piece of PC software.
One solution is to use a scan converter and videotape the entire 4 hour session.

As a FCP user, I would like to find the best software solution to screen capturing video
and audio(from lavalier microphone)to a hard drive. Preferably capturing in Quicktime.

Is there anything out there?

Here is one example of the kind of application I like the look of:

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Best wishes,

Camtasia works quite well and you can download a trial for 30 days.

I've used Snap Z Pro before and it's amazing.

There is lag depending on what speed computer you're using, but I just sped up the footage a bit and it worked great!
