Two issues - one Motion, one LiveType file unlinked in Timeline, not Bin

I hope this makes sense...
I imported a Motion file which edits into FCP fine. However there are some timeline clips where composite mode has been set to Soft Light that I want to copy Content of the Motion clip as opposed to overwrite (because of transitions, etc), and am unable to - FCP doesn't seem to paste the contents. I can paste the Content into a clip where Composite mode has not been changed. Is this a bug others have seen?
Second issue:
On a timeline, one LiveType file shows up as missing, and others show the wrong graphic. As soon as I paste the attributes from another graphic (NOT Content), the timeline graphics conform correctly. However the missing LiveType didn't (even though media did not show up as missing in the bin), until I went into LiveType and saved the graphic again. Then all was right with the world. I hadn't experienced any major problems until I caught these. Another known issue?

Don't know if it's supposed to work that way, so can't confirm it's a "bug"... however why not just edit the material in instead of replacing the contents? I'd think you can use the replace command for this. You are attempting to replace contents with paste attributes right? Try replacing the edit with the replace edit command instead...
