I have 3 streams in my sequence and would like to be able to see each in a separate viewer. The attached graphic shows one stream that displays properly, while the other streams (one above and the other below) do not follow the play head in the sequence. The only difference I notice is the small button on the top right of the viewer on the left side. (Notice the viewer on the right does not have that button and it does not follow the sequence playhead.) Does anyone know what that is (see attached), and how I can get the other streams to follow the sequence play head? Note that all viewers are set to "gang."

The only way to see more than one layer at a time in a Viewer window is to create a multi clip and view the clips as angles. Only one Viewer window can be active at any given time.

It's a clamshell to put buttons in... just like the one in the upper right corner of the timeline window. Open the button list (option + j) to see all the lovely things you can do with it. Drag a button to the clamshell, then drag it off.
