2K realtime output @ 24 FPS w Kona 3G - not possible ?

Hello,
I'm editing a feature shot on Alexa @24 anamorphic.
Monitoring 2048x1556 thru Decklink works basically, but whenever
there's a 'black hole' in my sequence, a title coming up -
the DL output tends to freak out, showing greenish images, randomly
flickering a.s.o.
So we purchased a Kona 3G - but until today we cannot get it to
output 2K @ 24 FPS....
Downconvert to HD 'kind of' works - but not full res.
Does anyone of you guys have it working in your suites ?
Seems like even the AJA guys never tested it - but advertise it.
So we're pretty frustrated at the moment.
(FCP 7.0.3. OSX 10.7.3, BMD HD LinkPro 3D, ProjectionDesign Beamer).

Helps a lot to have someone seen it working at least.
So we'll keep on trying.
Did all the driver combinations, but the problem might
be our monitoring chain then (HDlink box / grading monitor).
