I have about 1TB of ProRez422 files captured in FCP that I need to transfer to an Seatgate 1.5TB external hard drive. What's the best way to go about that? Mahalo in advance...

Are the files part of a FCP project or just the raw files after capture or conversion?
If just raw files, then you can use finder to copy them. If they are part of a project then Media Manager in FCP can copy a project plus media to another drive.
