So I'm using a set of wireless lavalier mics to record some lessons and MOST of the time, I'm the only one talking. Occasionally, my buddy will chime in, and his audio is priceless.

On some of the clips, I get a nasty pop on his channel, seemingly from static electricity... I still haven't figured it out yet. I don't want to mute his channel on ALL of the clips, but it doesnt seem like I'm able to mute his channel on one clip at a time.

I need to mute his some of the time, and the let the his silliness ring true other time.

Please let me know what you reccomend, and if you have any solutions to this annoying static issue other than wearing cotton undergarments.

Thanks for your time!

If the audio is linked, then unlink. You can then edit the second audio track and cut out all the in between audio and just leave it when there is useful dialog.
