NEX-FS100 footage and Final Cut -- Is there a way?

We recently purchased a Sony NEX-FS100. Great camera...

I've spent the past few hours trying to find the best workflow to get the footage into Final Cut. The bad news is that I haven't found much. Should I just jump ship and migrate to Premiere Pro now, or is there a good way to transcode this footage to a format that Final Cut will work with? I tried mpeg stream clip, but it doesn't seem to recognize the source footage. I also tried Final Cut's log and transfer, but couldn't get that to work either.

Does anyone have any advice for me?

I'll try doing that after watching the video. I didn't have luck doing so the first time, but I might have been doing something wrong. I appreciate your response.

Make sure you are running 7.0.3. If it still doesn't work, use ClipWrap2 to convert the footage to ProRes.

Then you need to use ClipWrap. That camera came out many years AFTER FCP 6...so it doesn't see the format of AVCHD it records.
