Finally! A great editing system.

I bought my present Otocore with 8GB of Ram, Kona card and LaCie Raids in January of this year. I never really felt the computer was living up to it's full potential.
I will have to say, after starting over with Snow Leopard, and FCS 3, and doing a clean install in the process the system seems to be running on all cylinders. No more memory leaks when I have both Motion and Final Cut open. Except for one glitch where the LaCie ESATA card was causing kernal panics, (fixed by new drivers from the chip makers website) Final Cut has never run better in my 4 1/2 years of using it.

I expect to an Octocore some time in the next few months.
We have spend too long watching the blue-bar progressing.
Best,
Rafael

Hey Don,
Nice to see your face. Good deal on the new system. Can we do some Rodeo spots now? With 8 versions per city.....?

Dan,
I saw George Runquist, (The Rodeo Producer ) last week! He drove through Texarkana, on his way back east called me, and we had breakfast together. He might help with marketing on the movie I'm doing.
Small world huh?
