Hello,
I've read many post but confusion is up.
I've to do a video with flash animation inside.
My final fcp projet is with hdv video captured from a Canon Xha1
(hdv 1080i50 1440*1080 strech to 1920*1080)
I've made a 1 minute flash video animation with many layer. Frame size is 1920*1080 and fps is 25 (europe).
When I've esported to Mov movie for importing to FCP I've same problem.
1)the only flash export setting work right in fcp is Mov with animation codec (1920*1080) but stream in sequence is not fluid. And when I render and export in hdv 1080i there isn't fluidity.
2)with Apple Intermediate 1440*1080 (and hdv 1080i and Dvcpro hd 1080) in fcp sequence fluidity is right (great!), the audio stream is right (perfect!), but the video stream have big problem (SIC!): is too long in the first part and stop before animation end!!
3) with jpeg sequence or png sequence my Mac Book Pro 4gb ram don't work (too slow only for scrub in fcp timeline). FCP Timeline setting problem??
Now, dear NG, how is the right flash export setting and the right fcp sequence to edit animation in fcp and export animation in the 1440*1080 16/9 hdv to join with my xha1 footage?
I'm so confused with mixing square pixel, field dominance and sequence codec.
I'm very sorry for hard question and for my ghastly english :(

Hello,
after one night with my keyboard and other many post, the only way I've found is:
1 export from flash to png sequence
2 import png sequence in Final Cut
3 export in .mov animation codec, 25 fps, frame size 14401080, Pixel hd 1440*1080, 16/9, frame rate hd 1440*1080, field domination none
4 import the mov file in Fc, set the Timeline setting with the same parametrs, and edit the animation
5 export the edited animation to hdv 1080i50 to import in fc with xha1 footage.
Now.
The process is too long and at the 5th step I loss my quality with pixeling....
Have you any suggestion?
If the process is right I hope other ng user don't spent their night with two bad friend: fc and flash
