24 codec says 60?

	24 codec says 60? by jason levy on Nov 5, 2009 at 4:25:26 pm Hello, I notice that when i log and transfer 720p DVCproHD material shot at 23.98.. when you open it in QT player and do a "get info" the frame rate is correctly listed but it tells you that the format is 720p60.. is that normal? jason Respond to this post   •   Return to posts index

	Re: 24 codec says 60? by Shane Ross on Nov 5, 2009 at 5:25:51 pm Yes. The COMPRESSOR type of the format is 720p60. That is the DVCPRO HD FORMAT type. The FRAME RATE then differs from there, to 59.94 (well, that is the normal frame rate), to 29.97 to 23.98. All is normal. Shane GETTING ORGANIZED WITH FINAL CUT PRO DVD...don't miss it.
