	Creating a Time-Lapse Effect by Brianna Pope on Nov 2, 2009 at 11:25:14 pm Are there commonly-used techniques for creating a time-lapse video in FCP other than just speeding up a clip? The best way to do time laps is with a DSLR camera on manual settings with a timer remote attached. The timer remote let's you set how often you want a picture taken for example once a minute or once every 30 seconds. You then take the picture files and you combine them into an image sequence on the computer. There are no "technical solutions" to your "artistic problems". So, from what you're saying, Roy, I will take one freeze frame every 20 seconds or so, then string those together. Correct? Gee, this won't be tedious at all.
