I came across this great cheat sheet for flash video dimension and was wondering if this applies to QuickTime movies as well.

A lot of other variables start to come into play when you work with traditional video assuming that most Flash may have been created rather than acquired. Essentially many of the same rules of thumb apply-divisible by 16 as the primary example. A couple of good articles with similar info to your cheat sheet here:
