Compressor 3.5 black letterbox not black but grey

Hey folks,
Thought I saw this in the flurry of FCS3 posts, but if I did I deleted it...
Using compressor (v3.5) to downconvert HD proes422 HQ 23.98 to SD MPEG IMX 525/60 letterboxed. (IMX is the codec my editors need to save render time.) I have the LB color set to 0,0,0 rgb.
Open in FC 7 and the letterbox area appears gamma shifted up, about 20 units. Thought it might relate to the new gamma 2.20, but I can't change the gamma setting in FCP with this codec, and I can't find a gamma setting preference in Compressor. I tried Prores 422 and got the same results.
Anyone deal with this? I can have them re-letterbox, but I'd like to solve the issue if I can.
And again, if I missed this and am reposting, I apologize. I'll keep looking.

Thanks Rafael, but if you're talking about the gamma Correction in the filters tab, that affects the video itself. The video looks great - correct - in FCP. It's just the letterbox black level thats too high. Its almost as if I went in and changed the color of the letterbox to a 20% grey...
