I have an hour long HD video in Premiere Pro CS3 and need to send it to someone who will import it into FCP so they can air it. I was going to export it via h.264, but it appears that FCP doesn't like this format. Does anyone know the best way to accomplish this?

Hi Kyle,
Are you working on a Mac or PC? If on a Mac it may be that the FCP editor can work with the same files you are. If not, Animation codec is high quality and compatible cross-platform, but the FCP editor would then have to convert to a better editing format.

I am in a similar situation and did not see a resolution to this post. I am ingesting HDCPROHD tape into Premiere Pro CS3, but I need to get it to a FCP editor. What is the best format to convert this to for my editor working in FCP?
