Crumpled Paper Transition
by Michael Lansdell on Aug 17, 2009 at 9:19:41 am

Hi,

I want to have a transition between two shots where the first shot is screwed up into a paper ball (or similar, I'm not too fussy!) as the transition to the next shot. Any ideas? I've googled for tutorials/plugins but not had too much success yet. Any ideas greatly appreciated!

Thank you!

I would say you could do that in Boris Red or in AE.

It would take a bit of work, but it could be done.

I don't know of a readymade effect like that but someone here may.

If you have FCP 7, you could create an alpha transition for this. You'll have to shoot the content or find the stock footage for the piece, though.
